Two-Factor Authentication requires you to enter an authentication code from a verified device, in addition to your password, when signing into SRS Acquiom. This feature can be enabled by any user and/or can be enforced by Project Administrators.
Enabling Two-Factor Authentication
You can enable two-factor authentication by clicking User Settings and selecting Security from the options on the left.
You will then be prompted to set up an authenticator app to generate 6-digit authentication codes. Follow the instructions on the screen to download and install the app of your choice. If you would prefer to receive authentication codes via text message, click the Authenticate Via SMS button.
Whether you choose to verify via an authenticator app or text message, you’ll be required to enter a mobile phone number on the next screen. The next screen will look similar to the one below. Enter your mobile phone number and click Send Verification Code. You will be sent a 6-digit verification code via SMS text message. When prompted, enter the code to verify your phone and enable two-factor authentication.
Disabling Two-Factor Authentication
You can disable two-factor authentication by clicking your User Settings tab and selecting Security from the options on the left. Here you will see a Disable button.
Note: If your administrator has enforced two-factor authentication, you will not have this option.
